Job Description

Sappi Southern Africa requires Interns. The interns will have the opportunity to grow and obtain the necessary skill, competencies, and experience within the related field and will be required to support the business with different tasks and responsibilities during their contract period.

The following internships are open for applications:

Human Resources Interns

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification
• Diploma / Degree in: Human Resources or related field

Supply Chain Interns

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification
• Diploma / Degree in: Supply Chain or related field

Information Technology Interns

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification
• Relevant MCSE/ IT qualification or equivalent qualification

Geographic Information Systems​​​​​​​ Intern​​​​​​​s

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification
• Relevant GIS / IT qualification or equivalent qualification

IT Security Intern​​​​​​​​​​​​​​s

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Science and Engineering (BSc Eng) in Industrial Engineering or Information Security Technology degree or an Information Technology degree with a focus in cyber security.

Social Worker​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Intern​​​​​​​s

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification
• General Degree in social services

Environmental​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Intern​​​​​​​s

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification
• Degree/B.Tech in Environmental Science or equivalent qualification

Communications​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Intern​​​​​​​s

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification
• Degree/Diploma in: Public Relations / Communications / Media studies or equivalent qualification.

Procurement​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Intern​​​​​​​s

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification
• Degree or Diploma in:  Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Procurement  or equivalent qualification

• Must be a Sophomore or Junior currently enrolled in an accredited engineering program (at least two years of coursework complete as of May 2021).
