Job Description

Do you eat, sleep and dream social media?  Do you understand digital and social media platforms and how each platform works?  Do you have an innovative and creative side?  Do you want to gain experience in the social media environment?  If you answered yes to these questions, then this is the position for you!     

We are looking for a Social Media Intern to join our Digital Marketing team to support the execution of the Digital Marketing strategy.   

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections.
• Work on the business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube).
• Scheduling social media posts using applications such as Iconosquare, Creator Studio. 
• Interacting with customers and dealing with customer queries on social platforms.
• Collaborate with other departments (Online merchant team, customer service, etc.).

Requirements:

• Studying towards a University degree or college diploma in:
  • Communications,
  • Marketing,
  • Business,
  • New Media or
  • Public Relations

Competencies:

• Interest in Design, and basic design skills
• Exceptional communications skills: writing, editing (photo/video/text), interpersonal and presentation
• Detailed oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
• Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
