Internship Description
Applications are invited from interested Unemployed students, graduates and post-graduates who want to be part of the exciting Technology Innovation Agency’s Internship Programme in partnership with Energy and Water SETA (EWSETA).
Purpose of the Internship is to:
- Develop a pool of young Critical Thinkers and provide skills that will stimulate innovation, provide life skills and work readiness (Basic Business, Technical and Life Skills Training) through mentorship.
- Provide workplace experience to graduates allowing them practical exposure to their academic training, and enhancing their employability.
Successful interns will be placed nationally across various TIA Offices, Platforms and TIA host companies.
Responsibilities:
The Intern’s responsibilities will include amongst others to:
- assist and support research,
- administration and project management activities within the project,
- Industry or Business Units and the sector where they will be placed.
- The Intern will be reporting to the Line Manager/Mentor within the business unit
Opportunities are available for South Africans:
- With a National certificate (or P1/P2)
- Who is Looking for Work Integrated Learning (WIL)
- With a Diploma
- With a University Degree or Post-graduates
The following Internship Categories are open for applications:
- 001 Internship – For candidates with: Matric + 1-2 year Certificate (or P1/P2) or Diploma.
- 002 Internship – For candidates with Degree, BTech or Advanced Diploma or Post Graduate up to master.
