The CSIR in partnership with MerSETA is offering Work Integrated Learning opportunities to students who require experiential training to fulfil national diploma requirements.
The Programme provides opportunities for students to gain practical experience that augments their theoretical studies under the guidance of more experienced professionals. This opportunity helps applicants bridge the gap between academics and practical application, making them more employable.

- Electrical Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering

- Chemical engineering
- Electro-mechanical engineering

- Electrical/Electronic Engineering (light current)
- Biotechnology and Polymer Technology
- Analytical Chemistry

Application Requirements:
- A South African citizen.
- Full-time enrolment at a University of Technology in any of the above areas of study.
- Must have passed all courses and left with practical experience to complete their National Diploma.
