Internship Description

The City of Johannesburg (CoJ), Group Corporate and Shared Services department is offering Internship opportunities to suitably qualified and unemployed graduates. The Internships will run for a period NOT exceeding eighteen (18) months. 

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate administrative requirements associated with Employee Assistance Programme functionality;
• Perform general clerical duties and renders support to the unit;
• Promote the efficiency of the Employee Assistance Programme;
• Collate and prepares qualitative and quantitate information for inclusion into specific statutory reports;

Requirements:

• Grade 12 plus National Diploma in Social Sciences or Social Auxiliary or equivalent qualification registered at NQF level 6 or higher.
• No experience is required.
• Only City of Joburg residents will be considered.

Skills and Competencies:

• Computer literacy (MS Office applications) and email.
• Language proficiency (reading and writing) in English and excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills;
• Problem analysis and problem-solving;
