Internship Description
United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites applications from suitably qualified and unemployed graduates who wish to gain experience in their respective fields of study.
The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:
Communication Officer Intern
- Be enrolled in the Final academic year of a first university degree (Any degree)
- or Have graduated with a university degree (Any degree)
- or Be enrolled in your second university degree or equivalent, or higher
Preferred Fields of study (Not required): Communications, Journalism, Marketing, International relations, Political science or equivalent.
Programme Officer Intern
- Be enrolled in the Final academic year of a first university degree (Any degree)
- or Have graduated with a university degree (Any degree)
- or Be enrolled in your second university degree or equivalent, or higher
Preferred Fields of study (Not required): International relations, Law, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Political science or equivalent.
SDG Financing and South-South Cooperation Intern
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s programme (or equivalent);
- or Have graduated no longer than 1 year ago with a Master’s degree or equivalent studies.
Required Fields of study: International Development, Economics, Finance, Applied Social Sciences or equivalent.
Skills and Competencies:
- Good writing and research skills.
- Strong analytical aptitude, communication and presentation skills.
- Good organizational, time management and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and proven ability to work independently and effectively.
- Computer proficiency: MS Office
- Ability to summarize a large amount of information and translate it into a compelling product for a public audience.
