The Automotive Industry Development Centre Eastern Cape (AIDC-EC) invites applications from suitably qualified and unemployed candidates to apply for the 2022 / 2023 Internship Programme.

Business Management and Administration
Requirements:Â
- 3-year degree/diploma in:
- Business Administration/ Management
Responsibilities:Â
- Coordinate information for compilation of reports (Daily).
- Maintain and keep up to date on all asset registers, raise and close all asset defects as required, document all continuous improvement initiatives and promote awareness of all procedural requirements to staff.
- Provide support to the relevant stakeholders through preparing and ensuring that all documentation is received and brought to finalization, effective communication and maintenance of sound business relationships with other internal stakeholders.
- Assist Company Secretariat with administrative duties.
Information Communications Technology
Requirements:Â
- 3-year NQF6 qualification in:
- Computer Studies /Â
- Information Systems /
- Technology /
- Electronics)
- BTech for the above formal qualification will be an advantage
Responsibilities:Â
- Assist with asset management tracking and transfers.
- Assist with repairs and maintenance of equipment in line with AIDC-EC’s technical & operational standards.
- Adhere to service delivery standards of the AIDC-EC.
- Submission of ad-hoc incidence fault reports with findings and repairs.Â
- Response time to match urgency for technical assistance in accordance with delivery requirements. Effective technical support to users in order to reduce downtime.Â
- Correct configuration & testing of digital equipment to ensure no technical faults.
- Ensure functional, streamlined and reliable digital systems.
Marketing and Communications
Requirements:Â
- 3-year degree/diploma in:
- Brand / Marketing Management.
Responsibilities:Â
- Responsible for assisting on all web-related, advertising, and print media projects including but not limited to collateral projects through to completion from concept and design to production/ implementation.Â
- To execute all digital, online, advertising, and print media-related projects from inception to approval.
- Log design-related job numbers and keep the time of work done for each job.
- Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type for website, intranet, social media, and other web platforms/ channels.
- Web content administration to ensure that all digital online media have cohesive brand consistency in line with the AIDC-EC’s CI manual.
- Actively manage the optimization of website and intranet content including social media and mobile apps.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in MS Office, i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
- Expert at organizing and prioritizing
- Adapt to any situation and work well under pressure
